Simon and Patrick SP6 Cedar Reviews 5

289 Sterling

It's a great sounding guitar but this comes at the cost of fragility. It is lightly lacquered, so no heavy nights out on the town and straight to bed early.

Some people are of the opinion that this has solid mahogany back and sides. It doesn't.It is triple ply laminate. The sound board is solid wood.

Generally the build quality is good, but you can get the odd dodgy neck with fret buzz, so when you are choosing check everywhere.

For the price you will not get a better sounding guitar. How long the guitar will survive is a bit of a worry.

The simon and Patrick SP6 Cedar guitar it absolutly stunning. It has a solid cedar top, with solid mahogany back and sides and the build quality is flawless. No other guitar manufacturer can come close to this high a standard for this price. Very easy to play, great action.

Very attractive guitar. But the cedar top is very soft and very lightly laquered, to let it breathe. This making the top delicate.

Flawless construction. Need say no more.

Surely the best guitar under £300?
